ALCOHOLIC HEPATITIS

Received 11 January 1990; Alcoholic hepatitis is a serious consequence of alcohol misuse and the usual precursor of cirrhosis. Risk factors, histology, pathogenesis, clinical features, prognosis and treatment are discussed in this review.
